ZARA DAVIS

Zara Davis is a Belgian-based singer-songwriter, currently living in Gent.

She started writing poetry early on in life and released her first poetry collection in 2015. Back then, the themes were very dark and existential. She spent most of her adulthood in London, working in the specialty coffee industry and trying to get a degree in Theoretical Physics. During the pandemic however, life seemed to be falling apart and Zara embarked on a journey to fulfill her childhood dreams and started writing a second volume of poems. But this time, together with the poems, she created musical soundscapes to underline the atmosphere of her poetry.
